The best source of scholarship information is contained on the internet, through a variety of scholarship directory sites.  Scholarships can be granted to students who meet the requirements.  There are many open opportunities for students to obtain scolarships. Students should start applying to scholarships their senior year of high school.

Financial Aid
For students who demonstrate financial need, filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is one of the easiest, ways of receiving financial aid for college. Though the form may be difficult to fill out, assistance from the Department of Education and from colleges and universities is available free of charge.  Students should apply for FAFSA starting January 1, 2010.  Financial helps many students whose parents are low income.
